Aenea (she/her), joins Danvers Family Doctors in 2026 as a Family Nurse Practitioner, bringing a thoughtful and compassionate approach to patient care. She is dedicated to building strong patient relationships built off of mutual trust and respect. She believes in delivering care that is both individualized and holistic, with an emphasis on prevention, education and long-term overall wellness.
Aenea earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Simmons University in 2025. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she developed a diverse clinical background working in emergency medicine, oncology, hospice, and home health nursing. These experiences shaped her ability to support patients and families through complex and often vulnerable moments, while reinforcing her commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
Originally from Vermont, Aenea now lives in Gloucester, MA with her partner, their infant daughter, and their four dogs—three pit bulls and a Cane Corso. When Aenea is not at DFD, she can be found teaching aerial silks at Seaside Circus, exploring the countless trails in Gloucester with her dogs, experimenting with a new dinner recipe or soaking up the sun on the beach with a good book.
